This pledge embodies our shared commitment to restoring and connecting habitats across Kent, with the ultimate aim of creating a contiguous corridor for wildlife. Chalk to Coast is led by a collaborative network of land stewards - farmers, foresters, estate owners, and local land managers—who together are shaping a corridor for nature, climate, and people. This is a non-binding pledge, it will not result in any change of designation or public access to your land. Your pledge will support mapping, strategic planning, identify shared ambitions, inform ecological planning, offer landscape scale opportunities for Natural Capital Investment and will shape the future support we offer. - As a landholder, I pledge to: Make space for nature on my land, helping wildlife to return and ecosystems to flourish. - Contribute to a joined-up corridor, linking habitats across boundaries to improve ecological connectivity. - Work in collaboration with others — farmers, conservationists, and communities — for the wider benefit of people and the planet. - Champion nature recovery in my area, and where possible, share knowledge and encourage others to get involved. By pledging, you’re becoming part of a wider movement to repair fragmented ecosystems, celebrate the beauty of our working landscapes, and ensure their resilience for future generations. Together, we are reconnecting Kent — one field, hedgerow and woodland at a time.
